ctor Dion Wiyoko entered the film industry through a horror movie, Kuntilanak Beranak (Female Ghost Giving Birth). He shot to stardom after securing a role in the action flick Serigala Terakhir (The Last Wolf).
“I am an ambitious person, but I don’t force myself too much. I am the type of person who will take an opportunity and do my best to accomplish it. For example, when I got the role as Ojos in Perahu Kertas [Paper Boat], I played the character wholeheartedly.
Serigala Terakhir was a film that could put my name under the limelight. The special thing about that movie was the process of making it, which made me very exhausted. It was an action movie, so we learned about choreography in martial arts.
The preparation process of the movie, including the training and reading, was very long. It was the longest of all my movies, but I was very satisfied when everything was done. I had done my best.
“I have been busy this year with some movies, but I’ve tried to make some time for myself. Some months ago, I played in a horror movie Hi5teria, Hattrick, which was a movie about a futsal game, and a drama flick Cinta di Saku Celana (Love in the Pants Pocket).
“When I want to relax, I usually go to the cinema, have something to eat or just walk around. I really like going to the cinema, but I can only do that if I have spare time. Sometimes I will just stay at home, watching programs in cable TV.
“My next passion is to become a businessman. I still want to do acting and presenting jobs, but I also want to have a business that can make me proud. I may make a culinary business because it is the simplest one.
“Many other fellow celebrities have chosen the culinary business.
“However, I am an open-minded person. I welcome any opportunities, such as having a shoes store or another business.
“I took management studies at Atma Jaya University in Jakarta, so I believe I can apply my knowledge to my future business, whatever it is.”
