Police anti-terror unit Densus 88 arrested another terrorist suspect in Jakarta's southwestern outskirts of Ciputat on Wednesday night.

The terrorist suspect was later taken to the Indonesian Police Headquarters, chief of the Ciputat police precinct Comr. Alip said early Thursday, as reported by Antara news agency.

Alip said a number of Densus 88 personnel also searched the place where the terrorist suspect was arrested.

Earlier in the day, three terrorist suspects were killed and another was arrested alive during a standoff with Densus 88 at Cigondewah and Margaasih in West Java's Bandung district.

The suspects killed were identified as Budi Syarif alias Angga, Sarane and Jonet while the other who was alive was Haris Fauzi.

The anti-terror squad on Wednesday morning also carried out a raid at Cipacing, Sumedang, West Java, and caught Masum, believed to be involved in the terrorist network.

The bodies of the three terrorist suspects were taken to Kramat Jati Police hospital in Jakarta for an autopsy.

Densus 88 is still searching for a 23-year-old bomb maker, identified only by the initials SI, in connection with a planned terror attack on the Myanmar Embassy in Jakarta last week.

It is alleged SI -- along with two accomplices Sefa Riano, 28, and Achmad Taufiq, 29 -- prepared five bombs for the assault, which was planned to avenge the persecution of the Rohingya, a Muslim ethnic group in Myanmar.

Sefa and Taufiq were apprehended last week while they were traveling on a motorbike along Jl. Sudirman, Central Jakarta. Densus 88 confiscated a backpack containing five bombs. (asw)
