Another mining accident at the underground deep ore (DOZ) mining zone
belonging to PT Freeport Indonesia in Tempagapura, Mimika, Papua, has severely injured
a truck driver by the name of Herman Wahid.
'Herman Wahid has been taken to Tembagapura Hospital in a critical condition,' Papua Police spokesman Sr. Comr. I Gede Sumerta Jaya said on Friday.
Previously on May 14, a tunnel collapsed at the Big Gossan underground mining complex, which also belongs to Freeport, claiming 28 lives and injuring 10.(dic)
