PT Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII) will launch a rights issue worth Rp 1.5 trillion to improve capital.
'The rights issue will support sustainable asset growth ['¦] We are glad to announce that the shareholders have shown firm commitment for BII's long term growth,' BII president director Dato Khairussaleh Ramli said as quoted by Kontan.co.id on Thursday.
BII plans to issue 4,690,165,897 new shares with share nominal value of Rp 22.50 and offer value of Rp 320 per stock.
Based on its March 2013 position, the capital adequacy ratio would increase to 15.08 percent from 13.34 percent after the rights issue is launched.
