Guess what?: Dhani cash strapped after son'€™s accident

M

usician Ahmad Dhani said he was now strapped for cash after shelling out about Rp 2 billion (US$182,000) to pay for the medical bills of the 13 survivors and giving donations to the families of seven victims in the accident.

'€œThis case has led to me paying out Rp 2 billion. I'€™ve done this to show my responsibility to the victims, not to dodge criminal punishment,'€ he said as quoted by tempo.co.

'€œBut now I no longer have money. I even had to call a TV station to pay my fee. I needed the money to pay for one of the victims'€™ surgery,'€ he said.

Dhani said he also did not have enough money to pay for more treatment for his son, 13, who was still recuperating. '€œI don'€™t have money to do more for my son. If he is to be thrown in jail, I cannot do much.'€
