'The defendant has been proven without a reasonable doubt of violating the Children's Protection Law,' said presiding judge Porman Situmorang at the Palembang District Court on Wednesday.
The court also declared her accomplice, Martini, of abetting the crime and sentenced her to four-and-a-half years in prison and fined her Rp 60 million.
Lisa and Martini were arrested in June for trying to sell undercover police a 3-week old baby from Lampung for Rp 15 million.
South Sumatra Police general crimes director Adj. Sr. Comr. Kristoyo Arianto said the baby was currently undergoing medical treatment at the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in Palembang.
'We are trying to locate the parents of the baby,' he said.(dic)
