After her acting and directing successes, Happy Salma is looking forward to trying her luck as a stage musical producer for Wayang Orang Rock Ekalaya.
She said it had always been her dream to merge modernity and tradition.
'The idea came from Arie Dagienkz [the musical director]. I was very excited when he told me his idea,' Happy said.
Many local musicians will take part in the musical, including Stevie Item of Andra and The Backbone, Koil's vocalist Otong, Jikun of /rif, Seringai, Netral and The Brandals.
Wayang Orang Rock Ekalaya will be staged on March 15 at Indoor Senayan Stadium.
