entara Budaya Bali in cooperation with the ItalianEmbassy in Indonesia, the Italian Cultural Center (Istituto Italiano diCultura) and Uni-Italia will hold an Italian cultural night at Bentara BudayaGallery in Gianyar on Monday, Feb. 10, starting 5 p.m.
The Italian night will feature various art and cultural events, a cultural dialogue, documentary films, a musical performance and culinary exhibition.
Italy and Indonesia, specifically Bali, have had good relations for many years.
Italian artist Emilio Ambron worked in Bali and resided in Klungkung. Ambron's works are now on display at Semarapura Museum in Klungkung. His works vividly portrayed the life of Balinese people, culture and tradition.
The cultural dialogue will feature Italian Ambassador to Indonesia, Federico Faila, the Italian Consul in, Bali Pino Confessa and Ilaria Galo, head of the Uni-Italia office at the Italian Embassy in Jakarta.
During the event, a number of films will be screened such as Opera Unica, a film produced by Enit Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo, the Italian Tourism Agency, Made in Italy in Bali'la creativita' degli italiani nell'osola degli dei by Leopoldo Antinozzi.
