he police questioned the management of Sapta MitraClinic in Rawalumbu, Bekasi, in connection with the death of five andhospitalization of nine last Tuesday due to carbon monoxide posioning.
Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said that the police was still questioning the clinic's director.
He said that according to the police, the victims had high levels of carbon monoxide in their bloodstream.
The police confiscated the clinic's power generator, which was alledgedly the source of the toxic fumes.
Rikwanto said, the technician who switched on the generator at dawn on Tuesday, also died. The technician had been asked to put the generator inside the building over fears that it would be stolen.
