What is needed is not so much sex education, but making young kids aware that 'my body belongs to me and no one else'. We should also form a relationship with our kids so that if anything makes them feel uncomfortable, they can always talk to mum or dad in confidence.
What allows this kind of evil to proliferate is the culture of shame, where the child dare not tell his or her mum or dad.
