Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said on Thursday that offline ticket sales for One Direction's 'On the Road Again' tour could only resume after the promoter renewed an application for a public event permit.
Police on May 31 dispersed crowds waiting to buy tickets at Kota Kasablanka shopping mall in South Jakarta and arrested one person.
'The suspect took the initiative to fabricate the police permit using old documents,' Rikwanto said, as quoted by tribunnews.com. 'If the promoter meets all the requirements, then the ticket sales can be resumed and the concert can go on.'
Concert organizer Ismaya has not commented.
The British/Irish boyband is planning to start a tour in February, with stops slated for Australia, Asia, South Africa and the UAE.
The Asia leg would start in Japan and finish at Bung Karno Stadium in Central Jakarta on March 25.
