Jokowi was scheduled to open an exercise event in Madiun, East Java, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, as reported by tribunnews.com.
He will then conduct a silaturahmi (friendship visit) to the KH Muhammad Muhtar Murthi Islamic boarding school in Jombang.
At around 2 p.m., the non-active Jakarta governor will attend a mass prayer and chat with the boarding school students in Jombang.
Jokowi will then attend a rock concert in Surabaya at 4 p.m., presented by Indonesian rock band Slank, which is known to be one of his supporters. After the concert, Jokowi is scheduled to meet with staff from the Jawa Post newspaper.
To mark the first day of Ramadhan on Sunday, Jokowi will lead the tarawih (prayer service) at a mosque in Surabaya.
Previously, the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla campaign team voiced its optimism about winning over voters in East Java, citing a predicted 55 percent win in the area, as reported by tempo.co.
Rival candidate Prabowo is scheduled to appear in Denpasar, Bali, to meet with his supporters at around 2 p.m. local time. Previously, Prabowo campaigned in Cirebon and Majalengka, both in West Java.
The Prabowo-Hatta Rajasa campaign team is upbeat about the pair's chances in Bali. Debate trainer Fahri Hamzah was quoted as saying that he believed people in the eastern half of Indonesia could relate to Prabowo, adding that he was optimistic that there was a lot of support on the resort island.
