fire raged through the Finance Ministry on Jl. Dr. Wahidin, Central Jakarta, on Friday morning, said Central Jakarta Fire and Disaster Mitigation Agency (PKPB) head Rahmat Kristantio.

"The fire started in the ministry's canteen," he said as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Rahmat said the agency deployed 18 fire trucks from the Central Jakarta PKPB and five fire trucks from the Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) immediately after the agency received information about the fire at 4:16 a.m.

Rahmat said there had been no reports of fatalities. Jakarta Police Twitter account @TMCPoldaMetro said the injured had been taken to the hospital.

According to @TMCPoldaMetro, the Fire Agency was still putting out the fire at 5:19 a.m. (fss)
