AKARTA: The production team of Indonesian-Brunei Darussalam film collaboration Yasmine received appreciation from Brunei Darussalam Prince Azim (right photo) during its gala premier in the neighboring country.
The prince gave a standing ovation after the premier and lauded director Siti Khamaludin.
'He was very happy [with the movie]. He said, this is a beautiful story, beautiful movie,' Siti was quoted as saying by kapanlagi.com.
The movie follows teenager Yasmine's journey in finding love and purpose in life.
Brunei actress Liyana Yus plays Yasmine, while Indonesian actors Arifin Putra, Reza Rahadian, Agus Kuncoro and Roy Sungkono round out the main cast.
For the action scenes, the producer hired Chan Man Chin, who has worked on several Jackie Chan action movies.
