AKARTA: Singer Marcell Siahaan says that the excitement surrounding President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo's inauguration should die down soon.
'We should not be in party mode for too long. We must open our eyes and ears. We must become watchdogs ready to bite if they do something wrong,' Marcell, who performed at a free concert to celebrate Jokowi's inauguration, said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Marcell added that he hoped the positive energy would help further unite the nation.
'We should think positively for Indonesia because this country is not just yours or mine but it belongs to all of us. Let's guard it together,' he said.
