JAKARTA: Stand-up comedian Kemal Palevi says his heart is racing ahead of the release of his film Tak Kemal Maka Tak Sayang on Thursday.
'I've watched the movie a thousand times during editing. Alhamdulillah [Praise God], I'm satisfied with the final cut,' Kemal said quoted by tribbunews.comin Jakarta.
The movie's title is a pun on the well-known catchphrase of 'tak kenal maka tak sayang' [you can't love what you don't know], based on his book of the same title, which talks about the perks and problems faced by teenagers and young adults.
Kemal started his career after coming in third in Kompas TV's Stand Up Comedy Indonesia competition in 2012. To date, he has starred in six movies and hosted several TV shows.
