Senior political observer Sugeng Sarjadi passed away at the age of 72 at Perta Medika Hospital, Sentul City, Bogor on Thursday.
The executive director of the Sugeng Sarjadi School of Government, Fadjroel Rachman, revealed the news via his Twitter account @fadjroel, tempo.co reported on Thursday.
No information regarding the funeral service has been made available.
Sugeng was born in Pekalongan, Central Java, on April 5, 1942. Sugeng, who was also the CEO of the Kodel group, joined the now dissolved Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI) in 1992. (dic)(++++)
