he Jakarta Industry and Energy Agency will host the fourth edition of Creative Products Week, set to be held from Nov. 4 to 7 at the Bidakara Hotel in South Jakarta.
The event is expected to become a center for producers, suppliers and other stakeholders to meet and share information.
Agency head Haris Pindratno said that the event would involve 250 producers from 15 different creative industry sectors.
'That includes the sectors of information and technology, fashion, craft and cuisine,' Haris told a press conference at City Hall on Thursday.
Haris pointed to an increase in the number of participants from year to year. Last year, 142 participants joined the event, which was held at the National Monument (Monas) in Central Jakarta, up from 125 participants in 2012 and 104 in 2011. The agency estimated that total transactions during the event could reach Rp 3 billion (US$247,524).
