The Maluku Police bomb squad have recovered home-made bombs stored in four boxes in Ambon, Maluku.
Chief of the Ambon and Lease Islands Police Adj. Sr. Comr. Komarus Zaman confirmed on Monday that the squad recovered the bombs in the Kampung Tenggara area, Sirimau district, Ambon, after receiving a tip-off from local residents.
He said a local resident found the boxes containing the home-made bombs while digging house foundations.
The squad identified the devices as pipe-bombs, he said.
"The bombs have been taken to the bomb squad base of the Maluku Police for further examination," he said as quoted by Antara news agency. (hhr)
