he Palu Immigration Office in Central Sulawesi has taken five Chinese nationals into custody for violating Indonesia's immigration laws.
"The foreigners work in a mining company in Palu city," Andi of the Palu immigration office said in Palu as quoted by Antara news agency on Tuesday.
They were arrested at a mining site located in Watusampu village, Ulujadi sub-district, Palu City, on Monday Andi said without giving details.
The arrests were made following a tip-off from the public. (hhr)(+++)
