WPP, Barbarians, Tigers and TKCC win

PP-India XI, Jakarta Barbarians, Senayan Tigers and TKCC all posted comfortable victories to end the year on a high in the Apple Coal JCA League 2014-15.

India XI brushed aside last week'€™s giant killer Ceylon by five wickets with more than 10 overs to spare. Batting first, Ceylon recovered from 125/7 in 24 overs to 195/9 in 35 overs, thanks to a brilliant 112 runs from Mukesh Khaitan. Bhuvan took three while Gaurav and Gurang picked up two wickets each. India XI reached the victory target in 26 overs, with Pallav scoring a match-winning unbeaten 86 runs. With this win, India XI reclaims the top spot in Division I.

At Purwakarta, Barbarians comfortably beat Emerio by 36 runs. Ben Burgess continued to impress with his all-round performance scoring 69 runs and taking two wickets. Batting first, Barbarians scored 173/9 in 35 overs. Anji took three wickets while David and Harish took two wickets each. Emerio started well reaching 69/1 in 12 overs but then lost steam to be bowled out for 137 runs in 30 overs. Mani scored 49 runs. Scott Masson claimed four wickets.

In a ruthless display, Tigers mauled Mavecrics by a whopping 194 runs at Cibubur. Tigers put up 240 runs on the board and then dismissed Mavecrics for 46 runs '€”their lowest score this season. Nato Fernandez and Anjar took three wickets each and Desandri took two wickets to dismiss Mavecrics in 18 overs.

Earlier, Ramdoni scored an excellent 84 runs along with Sachin (32) to put up an impressive 240 runs on the board. For Mavs, Miraz and Sanjeev took three wickets each.

Meanwhile at the Gandhi ground, favorite TKCC beat Jaguars by 167 runs. Batting first, TKCC plundered 132 runs in the last 11 overs to jump from 160/4 in 24 overs to 292 in 35 overs. Rakesh Gowda (72), Malik (72) and Hitesh (55) were the main run scorers. Anwar and Rido claimed two wickets apiece. Jaguars were dismissed for 125 runs. Anil, Hitesh and Vishal all claimed two wickets each.

WPP-India XI, WISCI Jakarta Barbarians lead Division I, while Fez Rebels, Metro Indians and TKCC lead Division II.
