he city administration has opened seven municipal-level Goods and Services Procurement Agency (ULP) units to boost budget spending this year.
City secretary Saefullah said on Monday that the municipal-level procurement units would resume procurement-related tasks that were previously carried out by municipal-level agency units.
'We are hoping to expedite procurement projects in 2015,' Saefullah said at City Hall.
Saefullah hoped that the launch would be able to boost city budget spending in 2015.
The city saw low budget spending last year, having realized around 70 percent of a total Rp 72 trillion.
'I hope we will see better spending this year,' he said. (***)
