Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Unggung Cahyono said on Friday that Eko had surrendered to the police after they brought in his friend and accomplice, Via Triwi.
'The suspect was very upset because he said the victim had twice raped his daughter five years ago when she was 14 years old,' Unggung said at the Jakarta Police headquarters as quoted by tempo.co, adding that Cece had been charged under Child Protection Law.
Unggung added that Cece had received the parcel on Saturday night and became suspicious when he noticed that it contained a lot of wires. Cece then called the police and handed the parcel to them, who later found that it was a low-explosive fishing bomb.
He said further that Eko and Via would be charged under the 2003 Terrorism Law.
Unggung said the Jakarta Police had also arrested an 18-year-old boy for sending a bomb threat to the Voice of America's (VOA) Indonesian office in Plaza Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta, in January.
