us manufacturer PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia donated on Tuesday a mobile service truck to bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) to fulfill part of the company's corporate social responsibility.
Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama said the vehicle would be of great use to the city administration, considering the frequent technical problems faced by Transjakarta buses.
'However, we hope that in the future we won't have to use the vehicle too much. If we need to use it frequently, it means the buses' maintenance is not good enough,' Ahok said during the hand-over ceremony at City Hall.
Meanwhile, Hino president director Hiroo Kayanoki said he hoped the mobile service vehicle would be useful for the city administration. The vehicle is outfitted with various pieces of equipment and is designed to make minor and medium repairs.
