em>Your comments on the statement made by leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) that they will focus on investigating the Bank Century case, which occurred during Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono'€™s tenure, but will sideline a probe into the Bank Indonesia liquidity support (BLBI) case, which occurred under Megawati Soekarnoputri'€™s presidency:

Jokowi, you are a disappointment.

All of your campaign promises are now up in smoke and now you have revealed your true colors. What a clever puppet master you have over there, very clever!

DFAQ

Why was former police chief Gen. Sutarman retired eight months prior to his scheduled retirement to let in Comr. Gen. Budi Gunawan?

What was the hurry? Is it because Abraham Samad and Bambang Widjojanto at the KPK were moving too fast so these guys needed to bump off  Gen. Sutarman fast and put in Budi Gunawan fast to ruffle feathers?

Jokowi shot to stardom because of a trusty aid who is a media expert. They are good with public relations but from what I gather, the administration still lacks experience in running the government. Running such a big country is an entirely different ballgame. Every single small decision will have ripple effects.

Instead of hiring academics and businessmen, they should hire people with more experience and knowledge of their respective fields but also in governance.

Running a government is not the same as running a company, or simply theories.

I have noticed the customs and tax officials are extremely rigorous lately. That is a sign that either they cannot meet their tax target or the government needs a lot of money.

Capedeh

I have been thinking quite a lot these past few weeks about Jokowi. Someone with much wisdom on Indonesian politics said: '€œJokowi is an unknown personality.'€ No studies have been made about him by any school of thought.

Is he politically savvy or does he have a '€œgrandmaster'€ behind him to make all these moves?

I cannot bring myself to believe that Jokowi is capable of handling this enormous task currently confronting him. Who is he outsourcing it to?

I notice he'€™s beginning his blusukan (impromptu visits) once again and maybe he'€™s seeking solace there, and it could be that it'€™s the only thing he'€™s good at. I see it'€™s becoming complicated but interesting.

Regarding the BLBI case, I feel President Joko '€œJokowi'€ Widodo should ensure that this controversial decision be fully investigated.

In fact this is a much bigger case than the Bank Century case.

In the era of Megawati today the KPK sidelines BLBI.

But in 2019 the KPK will focus on investigating the BLBI case because it will be the other era of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
