It's the fall of the party and they still don't want to change. There is nothing new in this country.
All parties in Indonesia are the same, still controlled by 'old faces' who hunger for power and honor, which is temporary!
They have failed to provide a good example to the younger generation.

Megawati publicly insulted Jokowi by telling him to communicate better with his party, and he then broke into a round of applause.
This showed who really wears the pants in the relationship.
So what Indonesia is now facing is a second term of Megawati.
The first one was rotten, with Indonesian GDP languishing at around 2 percent.
When Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono took over, it leaped to 6 percent. The sheer incompetence of the PDI-P has already been on display and no one can imagine that Megawati's second term is going to be any better than the first.

In my estimation Megawati is only still around because she found Jokowi.

If Jokowi feels beholden to a person, any person, and conducts himself accordingly, that's it. The National Police obviously don't care what he says.
What we need is a law that absolves people of their obligation to obey the president when his conduct is clearly driven by instructions given by a nonelected person.

Was it portrayed in one of many episodes of the TV program, Republik Mimpi (Dreaming Republic)?

I was a supporter of Jokowi. But what he has done in these last few months is beyond my expectation. He is indecisive and behaves contrary to what he promised before he was elected as president.
Further, he is surrounded by unscrupulous people who apparently force him to play puppet.
Not even his own party supports him. I would suggest to Jokowi to resign honorably, as otherwise his name will go down in history as a puppet president.
