he Medan District Court sentenced on Wednesday an employee of a maid recruitment firm to 30 months in jail for torturing three domestic workers.
Presiding judge Aksir said the defendant, Kiki Andika, along with six other defendants, had admitted to torturing three maids, identified as Endang Murdianingsih, Rukmiani and Anis Rahayu, at the house of Syamsul Anwar, which was also used as the firm's office.
