ollowing the recent discovery of the sale of baked goods laced with cannabis at Blok M Plaza in Kebayoran Baru by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), the South Jakarta Police have unearthed preliminary evidence of the production and distribution of 'space cookies' in the same area. Cookies containing hashish were sold in a plastic jar with a price of Rp 4 million (US$308.10) per jar.
South Jakarta narcotics unit head Adj. Sr. Comr. Hando Wibowo said on Monday that the cookies were distributed through an online website that required customers to register before making an order. The police refused to reveal any further details about the website.
'They required us to pay Rp 250,000 to get a PIN and become their member,' Hando told the media.
The police had yet to name any suspects in the case.
