ndonesia recorded a 3.51 percent rise in foreign tourist arrivals in the first quarter of this year to 2.22 million compared to the same period of last year, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said on Monday.
Foreign arrivals in March rose by 3.13 percent to 765,600 compared to February's numbers.
Indonesia is aiming to net around 10 million foreign tourists this year by planning to provide visa-free facilities to an additional 30 countries. (ren)(+++)
