he ruling Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) registered its new central executive board lineup with the Law and Human Rights Ministry on Tuesday.
Accompanied by fellow party executives, PDI-P secretary-general Hasto Kristiyanto handed documents on the new executive board to Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna H. Laoly, who is also a PDI-P politician.
'We have thus fulfilled our legal obligation by registering the new board,' Hasto said at the ministry's office in South Jakarta.
The PDI-P reelected last month Megawati Soekarnoputri as the party's chairperson for 2015-2020 during a national congress in Bali.
Following her unanimous reelection, Megawati used her speech to remind all party members that she was fully in charge and instructed President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo to toe the party line.
