strong>Your comments on President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo's launch of an ambitious project for new plants to generate 35,000 megawatts of power, including a 50-megawatt plant employing wind energy:
Jokowi is indeed a wise President. Insisting on wind power is indeed wise as this system is adaptable anywhere, any place in our wide and large archipelago.
It should be good for not only those living close to the mountains, but also on the Bajaos Islands group in the middle of our ocean.
While we can find the sun on 360 days in one year, the wind is available for power any time of the day and anywhere in the archipelago.
The windmill contraption on a ship, or planted on shoals will benefit the so-far almost neglected Bajaos.
These brothers and sisters of ours are in fact the guardians of our oceans and, therefore, are supposed to be recipients of our attention.
It would be wise for us to gather them into our fold, for they are indeed the natural guardians of our shoals. If we don't give them electricity (meaning comfort and education) then who will? They will be happy to pay their annual taxes. Rest assured!

There is a saying: 'think big'. This is what President Jokowi is doing with his ambitious project: nothing wrong with it. 'Daydreaming is not a crime.'
But I'm very sure this project is not his. For all those behind him to proceed they need to have his agreement. All this is to enhance Jokowi's image.

It is said that the project is worth quadrillions. How many zeros does that have?
Cut at least three zeros from our currency so we can talk in numbers that people understand.

Wind energy is safe compared with nuclear and maybe it is easier to maintain and cheaper, but be very sure that the plants are built with correct measurements so they won't hurt anyone when the wind works extremely hard
by blowing down anything standing on Earth.

Renewable energy is always the best one. I stand for it.

Will the projects decrease the price of power if they operate?
