argriet Megawe and Agus Tay Hamba May, the two chief suspects in the murder of eight-year-old Engeline Margret Megawe, took part in a re-enactment of the crime at Margriet'€™s residence on Jl. Sedap Malam in Denpasar, Bali, on Monday.

Margriet was taken to the location in an armored personnel carrier of the Denpasar Police while Agus was brought to the location in a Wolf tactical vehicle belonging to the Bali Provincial Police, kompas.com reported on Monday.

Many local people watching the scene shouted abuse at the two suspects upon their arrival at the crime site.

During the closed-door re-enactment, a couple of witnesses, Rahmat handono and his wife Susiani who once rented a room at the home, assisted police.

Agus was accompanied by his lawyers Haposan Sihombing and Hotman Paris Hutapea while Margriet'€™s lawyers did not appear to be present.

The re-enactment was led by police investigators in the presence of state prosecutors.

Engeline, the adoptive daughter of Margriet, was found buried in the backyard of the house on June 10 after she reportedly went missing on May 15. (rms)
