Jakarta Health Agency head Kusmedi Priharto said emergency services would remain open 24 hours a day during the festival.
'All emergency services, including emergency rooms at district-level puskesmas, will operate 24 hours a day,' he said on Monday as quoted by beritajakarta.com.
To ensure smooth operation, the agency will arrange for public health officers' to work in shifts.
Koesmedi noted that subdistrict-level puskesmas would be closed for four days during the Idul Fitri holiday.
'Subdistrict-level clinics will be closed on July 17, 18, 20 and 21,' he said.
