The selection process for Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) leaders continues on Tuesday with the last phase of the interview process.

Seven candidates are scheduled to be interviewed by the selection committee on Tuesday: current KPK commissioner Johan Budi SP, KPK gratuity director Giri Suprapdiono, Election Organization Ethics Council (DKPP) chairman Jimly Asshiddiqie, retired Army general Hendardji Supandji, Hasanuddin University rector Laode Muhammad Syarif, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) head of audit committee Mohammad Gudono and Pertamina Foundation director Nina Nurlina Pramono.

"All [will be treated] the same. There is no special treatment," said the selection committee's spokesperson Betti S Alisjahbana on Monday night as quoted by kompas.com.

Starting at 8 a.m., the interviews will go for one hour each and are open to the public.

Questions to be asked are said to include probing of the candidates' insights on law, clarification of complaints submitted by the public and enquiring about the candidates'€™ visions for the KPK.

"After the interview process, we will all discuss our observations and then submit eight names to the president on Aug. 31," said Betti. (kes)(++++)
