First Lady Iriana Widodo turned 52 on Thursday but shied away from public fanfare.
The only sign of a celebration was seen on her official Twitter account @IrianaJokowi to which her followers sent congratulatory messages.
The account, administered by staff members to post updates on the First Lady's activities, only posted a simple thank you note.
State Palace Press Bureau chief Bey Machmudin said that the first family had yet to plan an event to celebrate Iriana's birthday.
'Nothing is scheduled,' he said.
Iriana was scheduled on Thursday to accompany President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo in attending the commemoration of Sacred Pancasila Day at the Pancasila Sakti Monument in Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta.
Born on Oct. 1, 1963 in Surakarta, Central Java, Iriana is the mother of Gibran Rakabuming, Kahiyang Ayu and Kaesang Pangarep.
