eteran actor Ray Sahetapy couldn't miss the chance to promote Indonesia during shooting for his latest film in Turkey.
'I showed them three gemstones from my collection and told them that Indonesia is a colorful country,' he said as reported by tribunnews.com on Monday.
Ray, 58, is part of the cast of Romansa: Gending Cinta di Tanah Turki (Romance: The Music of Love in Turkey).
He brought two Sojol gemstones from his hometown of Donggala in Central Sulawesi, and a gemstone from Pacitan in East Java.
Ray, who will appear in the upcoming Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, said that many of the people he met while in Turkey intended to buy the gemstones from him.
'They're not for sale, but I did tell them that Indonesian gemstones harbored the powers of nature. Maybe that's the reason they were interested in buying the stones.'
