Your comments on the arrest of a policeman and three companions on suspicion of defrauding and sexually assaulting a woman at a West Jakarta hotel last week. The suspects could be charged under Article 285 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on rape.
Will they be brought to justice and will the cop be sacked too? The police officer should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

It is completely unjust for the four suspects to be indicted with the rape article carrying such a light jail sentence. Law enforcers, including state prosecutors and judges, should look for other laws to impose the harshest sanctions.
