strong>Your comments on the demand by lawmakers for the establishment of a supervisory body having authority to issue wiretapping permits for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK):

The proposal by a number of political parties to establish a supervisory body that will have the authority to issue bugging permits to the KPK is like controlling the antigraft institution.

This is like political parties admitting they are guilty of something that could be revealed by bugging their telephones.

This is tantamount to telling the people they are supposed to represent: '€œShut up!'€ while they engage in corruption.

Disgusting indeed!

How can we dethrone them to replace them with more caring representatives?

Moeljono Adikoesoemo

Those people who want to contain the KPK'€™s authority are corrupt and must be eradicated.

Fred Sabini

The proposal by the lawmakers to establish a supervisory body is just to weaken the KPK and the government will pretend to oppose it just to build a good image.
