Apple’s MacBook series is getting thinner and lighter, with the unveiling of a new 12-inch retina laptop featuring higher performance across the board within the same sleek package. Sure, there are the regular tech developments to be excited about–a 25 percent enhancement of graphic performance and up to 20 percent more processing power–but, for the aesthetically inclined, the big news is that the computer is available in rose gold, alongside existing silver, space grey, and gold options. Pictar iPhone camera grip

Photo addicts, check out this Pictar iPhone camera grip. The device provides a point-and-shoot feature, offering a dual-stage shutter release that lets you lock focus and exposure–just like an SLR camera. You can also control exposure compensation, zoom, ISO and shutter speed from the grip, as well. If you thought all this needs means having to charge another device, don’t worry: Pictar uses high-frequency sound waves to send its signals to your phone, meaning that its internal battery can last for months between charges. While currently in the Kickstarter phase, it sounds like the perfect device to take full advantage of your iPhone’s camera.

Montblanc’s 110th Anniversary Pen

To celebrate the venerable brand’s 110th anniversary, Montblanc has released the first in a special commemorative edition. This time, the maison has brought back its heritage “Rouge and Noir Special Edition” and “Limited Edition 1906” collections with art nouveau designs. The first in the series features a serpent that coils its way down from the cap to become the clip. Made of a new alloy, the clip can be lifted without being bent. The body is made from precious black resin and lacquer. The cap and barrel are made of ebonite according to Montblanc’s traditional manufacturing process, while the rhodium plated Au-750 gold nib with bi-color design holds the engraved serpent. IWC Schaffhausen Portofino Automatic Moon Phase

To mark the Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony, IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled its Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37th Edition, “Laureus Sport for Good Foundation”. IWC said that the release would be limited to an exclusive 1,500 pieces. This Portofino features self-winding mechanical movement with a 42-hour power reserve and a moon-phase display. To complete the exquisite look, the watch has been finely appointed with a blue dial featuring 12 diamonds, a 37-mm stainless steel case and an elegant blue alligator leather strap by Santoni. The watch finishes its caseback with a winning design from last year’s IWC children’s drawing competition. Part of the sales from the watch will go to Laureus’ push to support its social programs.
