AKARTA: Stand-up comedian and actor Ernest Prakasa claims to have developed a resistance to negative comments on social media.
“I have been in showbiz for five years, so I am pretty immune [to negative comments],” he told kompas.com recently.
At first, it was hard to read so many harsh comments and or critics on social media, he said, adding that he had gotten used to it.
“I don’t feel anything now. I am numb. I don’t care anymore,” the 34-year-old said.
“If it’s just a regular comment, I can deal with it. But if it gets worse, I just block,” the stand-up comedian said. — JP
