Every year, millions of Indonesians return to their hometowns to celebrate the Idul Fitri holiday with their families. They travel by air, sea and land, conquering hundreds or even thousands of kilometers in distance so that they can share the happiness of the special day with their friends and relatives. Every year this epic journey gets harder as the number of travelers joining the annual mass exodus continues to rise significantly. This means more traffic, and more time, energy and money expended for all involved. But none of this deters people from traveling back home as they believe it is worth all the hassle to be reunited with their loved ones during the holiday. — JP
