MY GADGET; Tatjana Saphira: Knowing Your Limits

(JP/Jerry Adiguna)

With the way technology has been developing in recent years, gadgets have become an inseparable part of many people’s lives. Actress Tatjana Saphira says she uses gadgets to make her life easier, but she won’t let herself become too occupied with them.

“Gadgets help us stay informed about happenings around the world. Some help increase our productivity and make us work more efficiently and effectively,” the 19-year-old said.

The star of the film I Am Hope firmly believes people should limit the use of their gadgets in their everyday life.

“I think there needs to be a balance, which means appreciating and using technology in the right way, but also knowing when to disconnect and experience our lives by being present.”

Here are her favorite gadgets:

--------------

iPhone 6

I use it to communicate. I use Calendar to keep track of my schedule; Monny to keep track of my balance and expenses, to be in control of my money. I also use Google Maps because I love to drive, but I am still unfamiliar with a lot of the areas around Jakarta, so it definitely helps me navigate around town.

--------------

Macbook Pro 13”

I use my laptop to write and browse more conveniently.

--------------

Fuji X70

I use it to capture moments. Taking photographs has been a hobby of mine since I was in primary school.
