AKARTA: Actress Jessica Iskandar has been traveling around Europe with her son El Barack Alexander and her sister and celebrated her son’s second birthday in Paris.

“When we were in Paris, it was coincidentally my son’s birthday so we had a small celebration,” she said as quoted in kompas.com.

“It wasn’t anything extravagant. I rented a villa and he blew his candles out with a small cake that I got from a coffee shop around there.”

Despite the low-key event, Jessica didn’t forget to buy her son a present in Budapest.

“Right now, he loves assembling things. So I bought him a toy plane, bus, train and airport that he can assemble. He loves them,” she said proudly.  

Jessica also didn’t forget to write her a son a letter, a tradition that she has continued ever since he was born.

“I write him a letter for every milestone of his life. On the day he was born, on his birthday, on Christmas. I will collect them and give them to him to read when he gets older,” she said. — JP
