Brianna Simorangkir was quick to talk about Mox when discussing the latest mobile phone apps.
Mox, an app that is now available for download at the Google Play Store and iTunes, allows users to watch old and just released box office Indonesian films from their gadgets for as low as Rp 15,000 (US$1.13) per title for seven days.
Brianna’s film, Komedi Gokil 2 (Crazy Comedy 2), which also stars the famed comedian, Indro “Warkop”, is the latest film to be added to hundreds of Indonesian movies that are now available at Mox.
Brianna believes that this app would be the future of the Indonesian film industry.
“This app will allow those who live abroad like me to watch and learn about old Indonesian movies whenever we want. It’s great because now, everything I want to watch is available in one place,” she said.
Brianna looks for convenience when it comes to selecting new gadgets or apps for her personal use.
“I think there are so many cool things out there, but the most important thing for me is that it [an app] needs to help make life simpler,” she said.

Ravi Solution Instant Wine Chiller
Maybe I’m just late to the party and a lot of people probably already have this, but I’m obsessed with this new wine cooler that instantly chills wine. You put in your wine, leave it in there for a minute and it’s instantly cold! As a wine-lover, I think this is amazing.

Polyvore
This app is so cool because it lets you choose your outfits. It’s really helpful for when you want to go shopping because then you already have an idea of what you want to look for!

The Pilot translation device
It’s basically an earpiece that translates languages. I’m not sure if it’s out in the public yet, but I’ve read about this and I would really love to get my hands on it. But I don’t know if having this would make people not want to learn languages. That’s the thing about technology isn’t it? Sometimes it makes things so convenient that you become lazy!
