akarta governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama is the richest governor candidate with wealth of Rp 25.6 billion (US$1.9 million) and US$7,228, followed by the other candidates, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono and Anies Baswedan.
According to the Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPUD), Ahok, who is former regent of East Belitung, owns properties in East Belitung and North Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the commission reported that Agus, a major who had just resigned from the Army to participate in the gubernatorial election, had total wealth of Rp 15.2 billion and US$511,322, while Anies had Rp 7.3 billion and US$8,893.
The KPUD reported that the Ahok pair, with incumbent deputy governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat, had wealth of Rp 6.2 billion; the Agus pair, with the inactive deputy governor for Tourism Affairs Sylviana Murni, had Rp 8.3 billion; and the Anies pair, with businessman Sandiaga Uno, had Rp 3.8 trillion and US$34 million.
