Garuda Indonesia and its low-cost subsidiary Citilink have merged their respective customer loyalty programs.
The combined “Supergreen GarudaMiles” program was launched on Saturday at an event named Citilink Days at the Gandaria City Mall in South Jakarta.
“With Supergreen GarudaMiles, members can get and exchange their miles to Citilink flights,” Garuda Indonesia president director M. Arif Wibowo, who attended the event, said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Citilink Indonesia president director Mega Satria said the joint membership program gave passengers of the two airlines various benefits.
“Garuda Indonesia Group understands that flying has become [an indispensable] activity for [many] Indonesians. The synergy is expected to improve the competitiveness of Citilink,” Mega added in reference to the joint membership program.
Members of the Supergreen GarudaMiles program collect reward points for miles flown on aircraft operated by Garuda Indonesia, Citilink and partnering airlines.
Current members of the GarudaMiles or Citilink Supergreeen reward programs do not need to register anew to enter the joint program. (bbn)
