resumptive governor elect Anies Baswedan has refused to divulge further information about his future programs, saying it would be improper for him to do so before the city's General Elections Commission (KPU Jakarta) announces the official runoff result on May 4.

He said on Monday that he would also wait for the official result before scheduling a meeting with Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama as well as the mayors of the municipalities, which will fall under his jurisdiction.

"We will wait for KPU Jakarta [to announce the result] before moving forward. It would be improper to do so now," Anies said in Duri Kosambi, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
