ebon Jeruk Police have arrested a man for assaulting a massage parlor worker at the Aldiron Complex in Duri Kepa, West Jakarta, and accusing him of consuming narcotics.
Kebon Jeruk Police chief Comr. Martson Marbun said the 38-year-old suspect had barged into the massage parlor carrying a kitchen knife on Tuesday. The suspect shouted at the victim, who was mopping the floor of the parlor.
“While holding the knife, the suspect accused the victim of consuming narcotics,” Marbun said on Wednesday, as reported by tribunnews.com.
He said the suspect had then dragged the victim to a police post, claiming that the victim had consumed narcotics.
“But when [police] tested the victim, they found no evidence of narcotics use,” Marbun said.
He said the suspect had been detained immediately, because he had threatened the victim with a weapon.
“We have arrested the suspect [and confiscated] the kitchen knife as a piece of evidence.
We are currently investigating the suspect’s motives,” he said. (ami)
