Actress Marsha Aruan will play the leader of a ghost hunting group in the upcoming horror movie DreadOut.
“I’ll play as Jessica. Her character is very bossy,” Marsha said as quoted by kompas.com.
The movie, directed by Kimo Stamboel, is an adaptation of a famous Indonesian horror video game of the same name. The game is well-known worldwide for its eccentric content.
“In previous horror movies, my characters were cowards. This time, I’ll play the bold one who’s looking for ghosts,” Marsha said.
Meanwhile, Kimo said the movie was going to be something new because the plot would be different from the game and some new characters, including Jessica, would be introduced.
The movie is scheduled to be in cinemas next year.
