eneva-based watch manufacturer Frederique Constant introduced its new Runabout RHS Chronograph Automatic model this year, in honor of its longstanding partnership with legendary Italian yachtmaker Riva.
The chronograph includes a complication that has not been available for some years from Frederique Constant. This time, it echoes the sporting past of Riva, which has produced powerful yacht models since 1962, for enjoying water sports on the company’s birthplace, Lake Iseo.
The new timepiece is available in two limited series, each composed of 2,888 pieces. Housed in a 42mm steel case, the two new Runabout RHS Chronograph Automatic models share a tricompax chronograph powered by the automatic FC-392 caliber, ensuring a power reserve of 46 hours.
Its guilloché dial comes in either anthracite grey or silvered, depending on the edition. Two luminescent hands glide over a date window at the 6 o’clock position and are complemented by a large central seconds hand in blued steel, recalling the color of the great Italian lakes.
